just wanted to let everyone know that i got a wicked screen for only $50.

i'm very nostalgic, and i can appreciate the older things in life.

i got a 22 inch crt monitor. it's made by hitachi, and i got a crystal clear screen.

i'm running 1280x1024 @ 100Hz .... i love it.

it runs 1600x1200 @ 85 Hz, but that's a bit too much pixels for me.

i like my new screen, and just thought i'd let everyone know

CRTs are awesome if you have the space for them. What I especially love about CRTs is that the Refresh rate is higher than 60Hz
I don't think most people realize that even though they are getting 300fps in counterstrike, with their nice LCD monitor they arent getting an effective rate of more than 60FPS. I actually got my 22inch LCD to force into 75hz, but only at lower resolutions and the aspect ratio was off.

THey really need to release some affordable computer LCD panels @ 120Hz like they are starting to with LCD TVs.

It is good that you have bought a new screen. Same thing i have done before a month. I called the Authorised service executive in India n told him the problem. I told them that since the damage was not due to mishandling and my screen broke by itself. they examiner my mobile and after making some more calls to some of officials, they agreed for the screen replacement of my phone and allowed me a discount of 40% on the new screen.
